In part two of a series featuring network-voted award-winning staff, The Huddle sits down with United's very own Dynamic Duo over at 17th St.
Both now in their second years as Polar Bears, long-time educators Dymonica Agyekum and Sara McRoberts invited us into the Culture Office for a glimpse into their effective, joyful, and growth-oriented partnership as Deans of Students.

This summer, Shea Jenkins won the "Rookie of the Year" award for her dedication to teaching math at our Dana Ave. campus. Zach McQuaid, an experienced educator of seven years, is ready for the challenges of the upcoming school year. Both teachers are eager to make a positive impact on their students this school year.

'It’s going to cost us about $50 a day per student to transport [...] Our board has courageously opened up about $300,000 out of our cash reserves to start to transport our students.'"
To Dana Ave. alumna and current Alumni Services Associate Ciana Lawhead, our United Schools President and Chief Schools Officer Kathryn Anstaett has played multiple roles: a teacher, then a school director, and now a colleague. The pair sat down with The Huddle to discuss their 12-year relationship, from the beginning of the Dana Ave. middle school campus to the future they're now helping build together in their current roles.
